Lasting Powers of Attorney
Increasing physical and mental incapacity in the elderly and/or the severely disabled is sadly a fact of life which is likely to affect most of us in a lifetime. Making arrangements now to have others act on your behalf as a Lasting Power of Attorney (“LPA”) to manage your financial and personal welfare is a prudent provision for you and your loved ones.
We will be happy to draw up the necessary documentation and be available as you so wish, to assist your nominated LPA in understanding their role at the time of appointment and when regrettably, your LPA’s duty and service are called upon to act for you when you are unable to do so.
It is often a painful and difficult time for anyone who has lost a loved one. Our Team of Advisors will be on hand to assist you through this very confusing and solitude stage in life. If you would like guidance or have any questions, we can arrange for one of our Advisors to take the burden off you by helping with the administration of the Estate. Being a Personal Representative can be an onerous task. We can help by advising Personal Representatives on what to do and even deal with the entire estate on their behalf as Professional Executors. We also have much experience in acting as Professional Trustees in settling the Estates of the deceased.
